October’s Five to Love

This short video focuses on five reasons to visit Loveland in October, but be sure to check out the calendar of events for a full listing of happenings throughout the month.

Know Before You Come

The beautiful Big Thompson Canyon (US 34) between Loveland and Estes Park will be closing for the season starting October 2nd for repairs. During this time, Loveland businesses will be open and the detour is simple and only 15 minutes longer. Make Loveland a destination on this detour. For more information on the closure, please visit our US 34 road closure page.

Save the Date for Winter Wonderlights

November 18th is the official kick-off for Loveland’s newest signature event, Winter Wonderlights. Chapungu Sculpture Park at Centerra will transform into a magical nightly light show through January 7th. Visitors will be able to walk the winter wonderland and enjoy lights choreographed to music from 5-9 PM, with special programming such as local school groups, dance studios, choirs and more performing on the weekends. The event is free, but non-perishable food donations are requested to benefit the Larimer County Food Bank. Stay tuned to our Winter Wonderlights page for more details as they become available.

Loveland on Out West

Comcast Entertainment Television brought Carri Wilbanks to Loveland to explore downtown, water activities at Boyd Lake, Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch, and so much more. The two 30-minute segments are now available so find some downtime and see what Loveland has to offer in the two segments below.
