Spend Family Time in Loveland, Colorado, for Spring Break

Loveland, Colorado is a great place to take the kids during spring break. Whether you’ve got teens who love to shop or little ones who love horses, this Northern Colorado city has got your family covered.

Do your teenagers love the mall? How about a shopping excursion to the Promenade Shops at Centerra? Loveland’s outdoor mall is a fabulous place to shop, dine and even take in a little art at the adjacent Chapungu Sculpture Park.

Perhaps your teenager would enjoy a treatment at TEN Salon & Spa. Afterward, if the weather allows, enjoy lunch on the sun-drenched patio of Bent Fork Grill, a local favorite restaurant that’s Colorado-owned and operated.

Stay at the nearby Embassy Suites where breakfast and views are always included.

While Loveland is a modern city, remnants of its past remain a vital part of the town’s charm. One of those delightful places is Sweetheart City Lanes Bowling Center, an old-fashioned bowling alley that’s fun for the entire family. After all, what 10-year-old doesn’t love glow-in-the-dark bowling or corn dogs from the bowling center’s cafe?

Sporty kids won’t want to miss Loveland Sports Park, where there are multiple full-size athletic fields, sand volleyball courts, basketball courts, inline hockey rinks, a skate park, a spray playground and more. With more than 300 days of sunshine every year in Loveland, Colorado, it’s likely that your Loveland Sports Park spring break outing will require the application of sunblock.
