Loveland, Colorado still has a small town feel, but it has the offerings of a big city, especially during the holiday season.

Shop til you drop in Loveland

The city is a shopper’s delight with everything from a full-service mall to a charming historic downtown district. The Promenade Shops at Centerra is an outdoor walking mall where shoppers will find everything from big box stores such as Best Buy to the Cottage Nest Holiday Gift Market. The market features more than 25 Colorado businesses selling everything from handmade clothing to edible treats.

Santa comes to the Promenade Shops from November 16 through December 24, plus, there are free horse and carriage rides on Sundays. The large ice rink in front of Bent Fork is open through February 21. For a list of all events taking place at The Promenade Shops at Centerra, visit their calendar.

With its twinkling lights and multiple dining locations, downtown Loveland is a wonderful destination for shopping. Whether you’re looking for a hard-to-find antique or a stunning piece of handcrafted jewelry, you’ll find it on Fourth Street.

Be entertained in Loveland

Loveland’s historic Rialto Theater in downtown is alive with the sounds of the holidays this December. There’s a Holiday Sing Along on December 6, as well as other Christmas events taking place at this beautiful venue throughout the month.

Enjoy a delightful Christmas Walk in the Woods in West Loveland this year. A new production, occurring December 12, 13, 19 and 20th, this family-friendly event features the Dickens Carolers and Santa in a unique outdoor setting. Bundle up and don’t forget the camera.

Stay and play in Loveland
