Three art shows take place in Loveland August 9-11 for the largest outdoor art show weekend. Below are details for each show, as well as the shuttle information.


SCULPTURE IN THE PARK

Loveland Sculpture Shows, August 10-12, 2012: Sculpture in the Park, Benson Garden, Sculpture Invitational, Arts & Crafts Fair, Dairy Queen exhibition.

Heralded as one of the finest outdoor juried exhibitions of three-dimensional artwork in the United States, Sculpture in the Park showcases over 2,000 pieces of sculpture created by 160 sculptors from around the world. The event is majestically staged against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains and attracts thousands of art lovers and collectors from across the country to Loveland’s Benson Sculpture Garden.

The second weekend of August, Benson Sculpture Garden is transformed by the Loveland High Plains Arts Council and their volunteers from a park into a beautiful setting for this outstanding exhibit. Highlights of Sculpture in the Park include Friday night’s Patron Party, a silent auction, and a Take Home a Piece of the Park exhibit with maquette editions of sculpture on permanent display in Benson Park.

ART IN THE PARK

Colorado’s Longest Running Artisan Festival… For over fifty years Art in the Park has been the Thompson Valley Art League’s largest fundraiser. We have over 200 juried artisans showing a diverse collection of excellent artwork. Browse through our Artisan tents  — then take a break to enjoy the diverse offerings in our food court and beer garden — all in our relaxing park atmosphere.

LOVELAND FINE ART AND SCULPTURE INVITATIONAL

Recently ranked among the top 100 Fine Art Shows in the United States by Sunshine Artists Magazine, the Fine Art Invitational features award-winning artists from across the Country exhibiting original works including Sculptures from the minute to the monumental – in bronze, stone, metal, glass, and clay –  other works include paintings, mixed media, etchings, woodwork, sparkling hand-blown glass, beautiful photography, carved stone fountains, handcrafted furniture, fine jewelry, and much more. The event is staged in a picture perfect postcard setting alongside scenic Lake Loveland, at the base of the majestic Rocky Mountains. The event attracts thousands of art enthusiasts and collectors from across the country.

Festival highlights include wine tasting, micro-brews, trendy food concessions, and continuous live entertainment, featuring Colorado’s top entertainers in Jazz, Blues, Motown, and Classic Rock. The event is benefiting Colorado Kids Create, for providing Art supplies to Colorado Schools.

FREE SHUTTLES TO AND FROM THE SHOWS

Avoid the hassles of parking and catch a free shuttle to all three shows from any of the locations below. All Shuttle bus service to the Loveland Art Shows is free of charge. Shuttle will drop you off at show locations on 29th street in Loveland. Shuttle will return you to your original pick up location.
