It’s the most wonderful time of the year! There’s no end to the festivities and fun that the holiday season brings to Loveland, Colorado. We’ve compiled a list of just some of the family-friendly holiday events to enjoy this season.

HOLIDAY LIGHTS & DECORATIONS

Downtown Loveland Festival of Lights, Nov. 30, 5-8 p.m.: Downtown Loveland is decking the halls and lighting the city during the Festival of Lights this year. Featuring a 24 foot Christmas Tree to be placed in front of the Rialto Theater, families can enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides, a petting zoo, Santa’s sleigh, performances on stage, carolers, a snow queen and princess, robots, and of course, Santa Claus during this year’s festival.

Savage Woods Christmas Walk in the Woods, Dec. 17-23, 5-8 p.m.: The Savage Woods is proud to present the 2nd Annual Christmas Walk in the Woods this holiday season. The Christmas Walk will feature a merry assortment of carolers and music. Best of all, meet SANTA! Mr. Claus will be in the woods to hear the children’s Christmas wishes as you gaze at the holiday lights.

The Embassy Suites in Loveland Life-Size Gingerbread Village, Nov. 25 – Dec. 31: Extend your holiday visit by booking a room at the Embassy Suites in Loveland – home to a life-size gingerbread village and other fun holiday decorations. You will be nothing short of amazed when you experience this indoor Winter Wonderland.

FAMILY EVENTS & MEET SANTA

Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch Thanksgiving, Nov. 24-27: Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch’s western holiday has a way of gearing you up for a relaxing and fun-filled getaway at the ranch with an “over the river and through the woods” adventure for the whole family. The three-night getaway features a traditional Thanksgiving feast served by “pilgrims”, guided nature walks, horse-drawn wagon rides and other old-fashioned activities to entertain the family throughout the weekend.

Centerra Marketplace Santa’s Workshop, Dec 3, 10 & 17,  11 a.m. – 3 p.m.: Do you hear what we hear? It’s Jolly Ol’ Saint Nick and his sleigh returning to set up Santa’s Workshop at Centerra this holiday season. Santa is ready to listen to all the wishes of those who’ve been naughty and nice. The workshop will feature complimentary ornament decorating, fresh baked cookies, coloring, horse drawn wagon rides and story time with Mrs. Claus.

Promenade Shops Breakfast With Santa, Dec. 3, 10, & 17,  8:30 a.m. – 11 p.m.: Make memories to last a lifetime by joining Santa for breakfast at The Promenade Shops at Centerra. You will enjoy a hot breakfast buffet, door prizes, goody bags and ornaments for the children, passes to The Ice Rink, emailed photos with Santa and much more!

WINTER WONDERLAND ACTIVITIES

The Ice Rink at The Promenade Shops at Centerra, Nov. – Feb. 26: The Ice Rink is a winter treasure at The Promenade Shops at Centerra, Northern Colorado’s favorite shopping and dining destination. Leisurely skate your way across the ice or practice your slap-shot; this family-fun activity accommodates from beginner to advanced skill levels.

Colorado Eagles Giveaway Nights, Nov. 25, 26 & Dec. 10, 7:05 p.m. – 10 p.m.: The Colorado Eagles have partnered with several local organizations to give-back and support the children and families of Northern Colorado. The Johnson’s Corner Youth Jersey giveaway, Stick Up For Kids night and Teddy Bear Toss night give community members the chance to watch some great hockey and partake in fun, engaging fundraisers for the community.
