Live Like a Local in Loveland – Jeff Willy Spotlight
Jeff, owner of Loveland Laser Tag Fun Center, spends most of his time at his business. He purchased Loveland Laser Tag in 2011 and over the years Jeff has expanded his offerings from laser tag and arcade to escape rooms and 4D motion rides. In addition, he is also the owner of Laserforce, a laser tag pioneer in terms of manufacturing and operations of world-wide laser tag equipment.
“I love interacting with the community, working alongside my amazing team, and bringing happiness to our guests. I love how friendly everyone is!”
Check out Jeff’s tips for a perfect 24 hours in Loveland.
Where are your favorite places to eat and what do you order?
The First Watch is an amazing breakfast spot! The farmhouse hash is delicious. Henry’s Pub is great for grabbing lunch downtown. I usually try to mix it up and go for their specials. McGraff’s is our go-to spot for dinner. The chicken cordon bleu is where it’s at, but their dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets are my daughter’s all-time favorite.
When it is time for some liquid art or liquid therapy, where do you go?
Grimm Brothers Brewhouse has great beer and very friendly staff. I like grabbing a pint of Snow Drop with my coworkers on Friday afternoons.
Where do you love to shop?
I like walking around downtown Loveland and window shopping. There are so many great options!
When it is time to have fun, where do you go?
I’m a little biased, but I’d have to say Loveland Laser Tag for the ropes, arcade, food, 4D motion rides, and more. But besides that, we love Boyd Lake State Park for all that there is to do there.
Where is your favorite place to spend outdoors?
Devil’s Backbone is great for the outdoors. It’s the perfect morning hike. In fact, just a few days ago, my 6 year-old made it to the keyhole for the first time! We are lucky to have such a beautiful outdoor place in Loveland.
When you have visitors in town, where do you take them?
Downtown is definitely a place to take people visiting! There’s nothing better than spending a lazy afternoon walking around enjoying the beautiful Colorado sunshine, doing some shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat at one of the many locally-owned restaurants.
If you are willing to share, what do you think are Loveland’s hidden gems or hot spots?
