Halloween Fun – Top Four Events and Activities in Loveland, Colorado
Halloween is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate than festive events? From haunted woods and a zombie beer trail to classic Halloween films and family Trick-or-Treat, here are four great ways to celebrate in Loveland, Colorado.
This is not your average haunted house and it’s not another corn maze. In fact, it’s not in a house or cornfield at all. Just west of Loveland, at the base of Devil’s Backbone, you will find Savage Woods, home of the vilest, hideous creatures our world has ever seen. It’s a terrifying, unguided exploration deep into the Woods to experience the immoral degenerates, native only to the Savage Woods. Open October 11-12, 18-19 and 25-26, 2019. Gates open at 6 p.m. Tours start at 7 p.m. Adults and children 11+: Entry is $20 per person. The Blackwood Estate: House of Horrors joins Creepy Walk this season. Tickets are $10.
The undead will fill the streets downtown Saturday, Oct. 19 starting at dusk for the Seventh Annual Zombie Beer Crawl. Start at Loveland Aleworks and head out for a chance to win prizes at each participating location. Costume contests, drink specials, and makeup artists are available.
Family Trick or Treat Events
Saturday, Oct. 26, Trick or Treat Street in Downtown Loveland runs from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. and The Marketplace at Centerra’s Halloween Hullabaloo bring family fun noon – 4 p.m. Halloween on the Promenade, a family Halloween event at the Promenade Shops at Centerra, is slated for noon – 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27.
From Oct. 25-31, enjoy films Beetlejuice, Young Frankenstein 2019 and The Rocky Horror Picture Show 2019 at the historic Rialto Theater downtown. On Oct. 19, head to the Foundry Plaza for a spooky, outdoor showing of Ghostbusters at 7:30 p.m.
