Loveland holiday light trail connects Winter Wonderlights to Downtown Loveland

For the second year, a holiday light trail will connect Winter Wonderlights at I-25 and Centerra down to Loveland’s thriving downtown district and across the city. Visitors can attend Winter Wonderlights, then head downtown for more culture, shopping and dining for the holidays. Downtown’s lights are new for the holiday season. Festive white lights in every tree bring 4th Street to life from Thanksgiving to Valentine’s Day.


Loveland’s Winter Wonderlights at Chapungu Sculpture Park

Nov. 15 – Jan. 1, 2020
Revel in the holiday glow at Loveland’s Winter Wonderlights, a unique holiday lighting attraction at Chapungu Sculpture Park in Centerra, the only permanent exhibit of Zimbabwe stone sculpture in the U.S.  Enjoy holiday lights, illuminated African stone sculptures and a nightly light and music show featuring a 20’ LED Christmas Tree. Winter Wonderlights LIVE! Event weekends Nov. 15-16, Nov. 29-30 and Dec. 13-14 bring special entertainment, activities, giveaways and more, including Colorado’s largest inflatable igloo.  NEW IN 2019: Santa and Reindeer from Loveland’s Jessen Reindeer Ranch will be available during LIVE weekends in November. Free and open to the public. Open daily 5-9 p.m.

NEW: Light The Lagoon

Nov. 22 – Jan. 3, 2020
Light the Lagoon is a holiday light and artist display at Loveland’s Foote Lagoon. It will include some of Loveland’s holiday displays that have historically been featured at Dwayne Webster Park along with new individual displays created by Loveland artists, and path lights transformed into candy canes. At the Grand Lighting on Fri, Nov 22, meet the artists of the new holiday installations and see the Lagoon be lit up for the very first time at the Grand Lighting, 4:30 – 6 p.m. Nov. 22.

Downtown Loveland’s Festival of Lights

Nov. 22, 5-8 p.m.
Step into the magic of the holidays with the traditional Downtown Loveland tree-lighting ceremony and 4th Annual Festival of Lights. The free Festival of Lights, presented by the Loveland Downtown Partnership brings holiday music and activities, Santa and Mrs. Claus, kids area and performance stage with princess shows and holiday characters, holiday spirits beer garden, Horse-drawn carriage rides, local food vendors and local holiday shopping.



Christmas Walk in the Woods

Dec. 13-31 (closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day)
The Savage Woods transforms into a Christmas wonderland with Christmas Walk in the Woods. Head over the river and to the woods, just a little way west of town to hear carolers and see the lights. Best of all meet Santa. Santa, carolers, and lights are available Dec. 14, 15, 21, 22 and 23 from 5 to 8 p.m. $12/person, children 5-and-under are free. The woods will be open with lights only Dec. 13-31 for $4/person.

Centerra’s New Year’s Eve Bash

Dec. 31, 6 – 9 p.m.
Ring in 2020  at northern Colorado’s signature lifestyle and shopping center – Centerra. From 6-9 p.m., enjoy family-friendly activities and ice skating and fun at the Promenade Shops at Centerra. A celebratory fireworks show is scheduled for 8 p.m.
