The focus of Working Women exhibition is to highlight women in the midst of various life circumstances and the myriad ways each artist responds to their changing world. The goal is to emphasize diverse ways women respond to the stages and challenges of life and draw attention to the unique perspectives women have on their surrounding environments, particularly the work structure, family dynamics and artistic development. Through a variety of media, this exhibit will feature the diversity of art by women and value of expressing individual identity within the category of women’s art.
Exhibition Runs: February 12 – April 1, 2016.
Opening Night: Friday, February 12, 6-9 pm during Night on the Town.
Open House: Friday, March 11, 6-9 pm during Night on the Town.
Poetry Reading & Gallery Talks with Artists: Thursday, March 24, 6:30-8:30 pm
Closing Open House: Friday, April 1, 2-5 pm.
All events are free and open to the public.
