3. Loveland Oktoberfest + Barbarian Dinner

The Loveland Oktoberfest returns Sept. 15-16, but WAIT! Plan to come the night before for the amazing Barbarian Dinner Sept. 14. Barbarian style cuisine served as a shareable platter with knives as the only utensil to be used. Mouth. Watering. Now.

Loveland Oktoberfest is Northern Colorado’s most authentic Oktoberfest experience with authentic German Polka Bands, pretzels from Styria Bakery and German pastries from European Sweet Treats alongside our lone caterer who will provide an array of authentic German cuisine for the entire festival. You will feel like you are in Munich with the long tables and layout inspired by the original German Oktoberfest.

4. Picasso: Visage Art Exhibit

Picasso: Visage showcases 50 works of art including 35 print originals and is an exploration not only of Picasso’s expertise over a wide variety of print media, but a continuation of questions posed by the artist himself, “are we to paint what’s on the face, what’s inside the face, or what’s behind it?” The collection is on loan from a private collection, Spaightwood Galleries in Upton, Massachusetts and from John Szoke Gallery in New York.

5. Osborn Farms Opening Weekend

Osborn Farms is proud to be the oldest continuously family-owned farm in Colorado, founded in 1861. Our Opening Weekend marks the beginning of their Pick-Your-Own Pumpkin season. This weekend celebration is filled with family-friendly activities (barrel trains, hay rides, face painting, and petting zoo) and food-stuffs from local vendors. Along with (of course) a field full of pumpkins.
